Geniuenly, I've been looking for a good chicken thali from a very long time. My friend, sheryal, introduced me to this place called Rumigoa.
This is a small, yet big enough, resturant opened by two friends. Since, they used their beautiful backyard to setup the resturant; their cost of production isn't that high. Resturants usually keep their price of food items in a cost+ profit aspect. You can imagine the price of same food in any star resturant.
Well, let me come to the food part. a good part, the food is served in a totally bio-degradable utensil. even the cups are made up of mud. you'll literally get that hinterland vibes in one hand, and the soothing music played in the background will take you to another trip, meanwhile.
let's talk something about the food. This is the best, i repeat- the best, chicken thali that i've ever had in goa. the ambiance, the food quantity and the food quality is lit. If you're the food-fan of north east India; you'll visit this place everyday, else- you'll visit this place at least 4-5 times a week. :)
The best part about this place is it's unique concept of letting the customer decide, what they want in their plates. if you want 5 vegetables in your plate, you'll get it. if you want just roti, or just rice, or just chicken or mutton or beef or something else........! you'll get it. yes, you'll get it.
